A marketplace is where one company will run the marketplace website, but they allow multiple vendors to sell their themes on their platform. Support in this case will be provided by each vendor, rather than the marketplace itself.
Due to the nature of marketplaces, if you choose to purchase a theme from one, you should check the reviews and support options as each vendor will be different. I’m now going to provide a few options for what I consider to be the best theme providers and marketplaces available at the moment. Theme Marketplaces ThemeForest and#8211 Currently the largest theme marketplace.
They have 5,500 WordPress themes available in many different categories. Some amazing themes are listed here, but so are some poorly coded themes, so make sure to check the customer reviews before purchasing.
Creative Market and#8211 I love CreativeMarket for all types of design-related purchases. It’s smaller in size than ThemeForest, but I find the quality higher in general. They currently have just under 2,000 WordPress themes listed.
